How do the fee’s work?

Mount Isa Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice, what this means is that we offer some bulk billing options. The GPs at Mount Isa Medical Centre bulk bill pensioners, health care card holders and U16’s. Aged pensioners are also bulk billed. The AMA fee structure forms the basis of our billing policy and is displayed on the reception counter. All fees are payable at the time of consultation via cash, cheque, MasterCard or Visa. If you have any difficulty in paying our fees, please feel free to discuss with your GP.
